Today, Friday, June 2, voter registration offices will be open until 10pm.
In other words, the hours will be extended by another five hours, from 5pm to 10pm. But on Saturday, June 3, the registration offices will be open until midnight on Sunday. This means that opening hours will be extended by another seven hours (from 5pm to midnight). This was the solution found to register the remaining citizens.

The CNE's decision ends up favoring the Frelimo party in some municipalities dominated by Frelimo.
opposition, since a considerable number of opposition members were blocked, as was the case in Beira. The blockade of opposition voters prevented them from registering. A large part of the Frelimo electorate was registered during the blockades carried out by the STAE directors and their supervisors, mostly teachers and members of the Mozambican Youth Organization (OJM).
