População incendeia casa de agente da PRM em Bobole

In the early hours of Thursday morning (12), residents of Bobole set fire to the home of an alleged agent of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) accused of carrying out robberies.

According to residents, the agent robbed and sexually assaulted women.

On the day that the population advanced on his home, the alleged policeman fought back by throwing tear gas grenades.

A PRM entourage reportedly went to the house to help the officer and his family.

A report by Success TV showed the destruction of the house, which was almost completely reduced to ashes, including part of the fence.

The policeman has allegedly told some people that he will return to his home and take revenge on all those who took part in the raid. (Image for illustrative purposes only)
