The Commander General of the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), Bernardino Rafael, said that for the festive season two plans have been implemented to guarantee public order and security.
These are the Zalala 2022-2023 and Tsakane plans, drawn up by PRM in conjunction with the Defense and Security Forces.
Bernardino Rafael went on to talk about the Zalala Plan, which will intensify controls on public roads, localities and borders.
"To be able to educate road users to respect their own lives and the lives of others, as well as their own means, is a challenge we have. We are challenged; to respect those who are entering our country, from the miners who are the majority, who are returning, tourists, in obedience to our Zalala plan," said the Commander General of the PRM, Bernardino Rafael, quoted by Rádio Moçambique.
