This morning, at the Mozambique-China Cultural Center, the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, opened the International Conference on the 50th Anniversary of the Signing of the Lusaka Accords and the Challenges for Peacekeeping.
Organized by the Ministry of Combatants, the event is part of the commemorations of the 50th anniversary of "Victory Day", which takes place on Saturday 7 September.
The event coincides with the XI Combatant Festival, this time with the participation of Zambia, the host country of the agreements, Portugal, a signatory, and Algeria, which trained the first guerrillas who took part in the Mozambique Liberation Struggle. (News)
