The Attorney General's Office (PGR) in Tete province revealed on Thursday the existence of infiltrators in the justice system who make it difficult to fight organized crime.
The accusation was made by the criminal prosecutor at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Tete, who was speaking as part of Legality Week.
Quoted by Rádio, Lucas Maria said that "as well as intruders into the system, there are also players in the justice system who are not secretive about the strategies being drawn up to combat crime in the province".
"There is a need for introspection in the justice administration sector in Tete, with a view to putting an end to the situation that can perpetuate or increase cases of organized crime," said Lucas Maria.
However, the magistrate also added that aiding illegal immigration and human trafficking are common crimes in Tete province.
