Mozambican fish already supplying SADC countries

About a thousand tons of various fish, caught in the Cahora Bassa Reservoir in Tete, were exported in the first half of this year, to some countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

These resources are the result of the captive production developed by 470 fish farmers, mostly from the districts bordering the reservoir, who also supplied the national market with about 1,300 tons.

The governor of Tete, Domingos Viola, says that his administration will continue to boost fishing activity in that part of the country.
