Mozambican writer Paulina Chiziane was recently honored by "Forbes Lusophone Africa" magazine.
The tribute comes as a result of her crucial role in the battle for African women's rights, according to "Notícias".
By winning the publication's Leadership and Social Responsibility Award, Paulina Chiziane became the second Mozambican woman to be honored by "Forbes" after social activist Graça Machel.
Also quoted by the newspaper, Nilza Rodrigues, the publication's director, says that the award is the result of the writer's significant impact as one of the most prominent voices in Lusophony.
