Pascoal Ronda points out the main gateways for drugs into Mozambique

The provinces of Maputo, Nampula, Cabo Delgado and Zambézia are part of the main heavy drug trafficking route in the country, whose protagonists are members of crime syndicates.

The information was given yesterday, Wednesday (17), by the Minister of the Interior, Pascoal Ronda, on the first day of questions to the government in Parliament.

According to Pascoal Ronda, these gangs have preferentially used the Afghanistan - Pakistan - Pemba - Zambézia - Maputo - South Africa routes.

"Other important routes are São Paulo - Addis Ababa - Maputo - South Africa, and also Kenya - Nampula," he added.
