The Optimistic People for the Development of Mozambique (Podemos) party announced today that it will hold a march tomorrow in repudiation of the centralized results of the October 9 elections, announced by the National Electoral Commission (CNE).
A note from the party to which we have had access states that it will be attended by other parties represented by their leaders.
Podemos urges the entire Mozambican population to take part in the march of repudiation, which is scheduled to begin at 9.30 a.m., with a gathering at Continuadores Park in Maputo city.
The march will continue along Avenida Mao Tse Tung, skirting along Av. Amílcar Cabral, to the intersection with Av. Eduardo Mondlane, and will end at the statue of Eduardo Mondlane, in the Alto Maé neighborhood.
