A total of 160 Palestinian citizens disembarked at Johannesburg airport yesterday (13) to seek refuge in South Africa.

The South African Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation had to intervene to allow this group to enter, as they did not have visas to enter South Africa.

The non-governmental organization Gift of Givers and other civil society partners say they will provide humanitarian and legal support and medical care. (RM)
