The budget of the Assembly of the Republic (AR) for next year (2024) will be revised downwards, with a reduction of around five hundred million meticais.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the legislative body, Helder Injojo, said quoted by Rádio Moçambique that the proposal, approved this Wednesday, aims to quantify the financial needs for the implementation of the respective program of activities.

The source also said that among the various activities scheduled for next year, the parliament also wants to carry out those that, for financial reasons, have not been possible in the last ten years.
