The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, held a telephone conversation yesterday with António Costa, the outgoing Prime Minister of the Portuguese Republic, according to "Notícias".
The contact served to exchange greetings, congratulate each other and express gratitude for the joint work carried out in the context of deepening cooperation between the two countries, according to the source.
On his Facebook account, Nyusi thanked António Costa for his direct intervention in facilitating the contacts with the European Union that culminated in support for Mozambique in the fight against terrorism, as well as for the agreements signed during the joint commissions that gave so much impetus to cooperation.
