Nyusi inaugurates new UEM Geology Department building today valued at 11 M$

Nyusi inaugura hoje novo edifício do Departamento de Geologia da UEM avaliado em 11 M$

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, is inaugurating the new Geology Department building at Eduardo Mondlane University (UEM) on Wednesday.

Budgeted at 11 million dollars, the new building was built and equipped in a partnership between the Mozambican government and the African Development Bank (AfDB).

The new facilities include two blocks for the Department of Geology, a block for the Faculty of Science and a block for Common Services.

The new facilities are part of the implementation of the 2018-2028 Strategic Plan, which calls for the transformation of EMU into a research university, and the EMU Infrastructure Development Strategy.
