Novo rating coloca Fidelidade entre as seguradoras mais sustentáveis do mundo

Fidelidade - the group to which Fidelidade Ímpar belongs - was considered the second best insurance company in Europe and the fourth best in the world in terms of sustainability.

This ranking was awarded by Morningstar Sustainalytics, an international benchmark company that has been producing a global sustainability ranking for over 30 years.

A total of 301 insurers were assessed, and the announcement of this ranking was made during COP28, which is taking place in Dubai.

The leading insurer in Portugal received a rating of 11.7, which places it in second place in the ranking of the best European insurers and fourth in the world ranking.

Mozambique is also proud to have one of the best insurance companies in the world on the market, guaranteeing Mozambicans high levels of quality and a strong commitment to a more sustainable future for the country.

Carlos Leitão, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Fidelidade Ímpar, considers the rating awarded by Morningstar Sustainalytics to be of "great importance also for Mozambique", where Fidelidade Ímpar follows the same guidelines as the Group, also investing in a "strategy of commitment to sustainable development and responsibility towards communities, in order to create a positive impact in the country".

The ESG rating now awarded by Morningstar Sustainalytics consolidates the strategy implemented by Fidelidade, which actively seeks to have a positive impact on society, being a responsible and proactive economic agent in the ecological transition, and an exemplary agent of change, which stands alongside its employees, partners and customers on this path towards sustainability.

Morningstar Sustainalytics is an international benchmark company that has been producing a global sustainability ranking for over 30 years and provides high quality research, ratings and analytical data on environment, society and governance (ESG) to institutional investors and companies in the field of environment, social and governance in all sectors of activity.
