The swearing-in ceremony for the members of the new Angolan Government takes place this Monday, at 9:00 a.m. at the Presidential Palace, in Luanda.
According to Lusa, the Angolan president appointed on Friday a new executive with 28 members, including four ministers of state, in which only five are newcomers, handing over the government of Luanda, to Manuel Homem, former minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media.
Adão de Almeida is reappointed as minister of State and head of the President of the Republic's Civil House, as is Manuel José Nunes Júnior, minister of State for Economic Coordination of the President of the Republic, and Francisco Pereira Furtado remains as minister of State and head of the President of the Republic's Military House.
Dalva Ringote Allen, former Secretary of State for the Economy is promoted to Minister of State and Social Affairs.
João Ernesto dos Santos, as Minister of National Defense, Former Combatants and Homeland Veterans, Eugénio Cesar Laborinho, Minister of the Interior, and Téte António, Minister of Foreign Affairs, remain unchanged.
Marcy Cláudio Lopes, until now in the Territory Administration transits to Justice and Human Rights, being replaced in the previous position by Dionísio Manuel da Fonseca, who was vice-governor for the Political and Social sector in Luanda.
Vera Daves de Sousa becomes Finance Minister again, as does Mário Caetano João, who remains in charge of Economy and Planning, Teresa Rodrigues Dias, who continues with Public Administration, Labor, and Social Security, and António Assis, who remains with Agriculture and Forestry.
Victor Fernandes is reappointed as Minister of Industry and Commerce, Diamantino Pedro Azevedo, as Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Ricardo Viegas D'Ábreu, in Transport, João Baptista Borges, in Energy and Water, and Felipe Zau, in Culture and Tourism, no longer in charge of Environment.
Maria do Rosário Sambo, in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Luísa Grilo, in Education, and Sílvia Lutucuta, in Health, also remain.
Biologist Carmen Neto dos Santos makes her debut in Fisheries and Marine Resources, which was previously merged with Agriculture.
Carlos Alberto Gregório dos Santos, becomes Minister of Public Works, Urban Planning, and Housing, as does Mário Augusto da Silva Oliveira, in Telecommunications, Information Technologies, and Social Communication, Ana Paula do Sacramento Neto takes over Social Action, Family, and Women's Promotion, and Palmira Leitão Barbosa is in Youth and Sports.
Ana Paula de Carvalho, former governor of Luanda will be the new minister of Environment.
