The post-election demonstrations in Mozambique have caused 90 deaths, 293 shootings and 3,496 people detained since October 21 to December 5, according to data from the Decide Platform.

According to the Protest Monitoring Report, 12 deaths were recorded between December 4 and 5 alone, seven in Nampula province, two in Cabo Delgado, one in Sofala, one in Inhambane and one in Maputo province.

In the same period, there were 34 shootings, 20 of which in Nampula, seven in Cabo Delgado, three in Sofala, two in Inhambane, one in Zambézia and one in Maputo province.

There were seven arrests: three in Tete, three in Manica and one in Nampula.
