The process of the case of poisoning of Nini Abdul Satar, in the Machava Maximum Security Establishment (BO), is in the phase of criminal instruction, according to assurances given by the chief prosecutor of Maputo province.
The complaint about the attempted murder of Nini Satar was made by the inmate himself and by the authorities of the establishment, according to statements from Evelina Gomane, quoted by the newspaper Notícias.

The magistrate confirmed the existence of evidence indicating attempted murder and that, in connection with the case, two Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) officers are in custody.
"If there are strong indications that there really was this attempt, we will submit the matter to the court to follow up with a view to a possible trial," he said.
In the week that triggered this issue in the national press, audios were circulated on social networks indicating the plan to end the life of Nini Satar. The interlocutors of the audios were - as indicated by the media itself - a PRM agent and two inmates, whose names are described.
The PRM officer told inmate (1) that he had received superior orders to commit the crime, expecting inmate (1) to do the "job." In turn, inmate (1) contacted inmate (2), who was supposedly in the same cell with Nini Satar, to be the inmate (2) to do the "service" because he was close to the target. By then it seems that the Maximum Security Prison Intelligence already knew about the project and was following the whole process.
Notícias reports that the involvement of PRM agents in this case had already been confirmed last week by the Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, Helena Kida, in a brief address to journalists.
The attempted murder of the man convicted in the "Carlos Cardoso Case" reportedly took place one month ago.
Nini Satar is serving a 24-year prison sentence.
