Nampula: Populares espancam dois secretários da Frelimo acusando-os de estarem a propagar a cólera

The Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) have arrested two people living in the district of Angoche, in the south of Nampula province, accused of having joined a group of people who brutally beat up two local secretaries belonging to the Frelimo party, allegedly because they were distributing cholera.

According to the PRM spokeswoman in Nampula, Rosa Chaúque, the arrested individuals had vandalized the residences of the two first secretaries in the districts of that municipal town, because they were allegedly distributing medicines for the spread of cholera.

"These individuals vandalized the residences of the first secretary of the circle and the district, accusing them of distributing medicines for the spread of cholera," said the source quoted by the portal Ikweli.
