Renamo's provincial delegation in Nampula does not want any of its members and sympathizers to make statements to the national and international media, starting this Wednesday (18), without some authorization from the party.

According to a publication on the IkweliAccording to a note from Partridge, signed by the provincial delegate, Abiba Aba, Renamo establishes as a condition for speaking to the press, the presentation of a credential issued by the party for the proper purposes.

"For your knowledge and due effect, we hereby inform you that any member of the party who has not been duly accredited by the competent bodies of the Nampula Provincial Political Delegation will not be allowed to provide press services or commentators related to Renamo affairs," the note reads.

This ban comes at a time when there are growing voices within the party from members who criticize the leadership of the current squad headed by General Ossufo Momade.
