Nampula: Juízes comunitários em formação

The first training course for community court judges, local authorities and paralegals on human rights in situations of terrorism and violent extremism is taking place in the city of Nampula from June 28 to 30.

According to a press release, the course, organized by the Centre for Legal and Judicial Training (CFJJ) in partnership with the National Directorate for the Administration of Justice (DNAJ), with funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), aims to help strengthen community justice, especially in communities affected by armed conflict.

There are 30 trainees taking part in this training, including 18 community judges, 6 community leaders and 6 paralegals from the city of Nampula and the districts of Ribàué, Marrupula, Mogovolas, Monapo and Rapale.
