The Nampula Provincial Office for Combating Corruption (GPCCN) yesterday arrested the former director of the Provincial Infrastructure Services, Gil de Carvalho, on charges of illegally selling state property to private individuals, mainly his immediate family members.
Also accused in the case are his wife, son, brother-in-law and the head of the provincial office of the State Real Estate Park Administration (APIE), who is alleged to have sold eight properties to the former director, three of which went to his immediate family.
According to a NewsThe facts occurred between 2022 and 2024 and several acts were identified that violated administrative procedures in the sale process.
