In addition to the current president of the Mozambican Football Federation (FMF), Faizal Sidat, Namoto Chipande is also a new candidate in the race for the presidency of the FMF.
According to a publication in the newspaper "Desafio", Chipande submitted his candidacy file to the FMF secretariat on Friday, formalizing his intention to fight for the presidency of the Mozambican Football Federation.
It should be noted that Chipande was already vice-president for national teams during the Simango Júnior era and has now reappeared with the ambition of taking the top job.
The elections for the position of FMF president are scheduled for November 3.
