After a long period of "tranquility", informal vendors in the Costa de Sol neighborhood are once again the target of police harassment. 

Today, the municipal police once again evicted dozens of informal vendors from the Costa do Sol neighborhood (school stop), a place considered unsuitable for commerce.

They had to flee with their products when they realized that the police were coming to snatch them away.

"They're kicking us out of here, but they don't give us a place to continue our activities. Where will we go?" asked one of the vendors heard by MZNews.

According to the vendors, the Municipal Police have given them until tomorrow to leave the place, but they haven't indicated a place to stay.

"We will continue to sell here. We won't leave. If they want to persecute us, let them, but we won't leave this place," said another vendor.
