Maputo City Council has just launched a public tender for the contracting of secondary solid waste collection services, the duration of which is two years.

The contest is taking place at a time when filth has taken over many streets in the country's capital.

According to the municipality, interested companies must submit sealed bids for the services by January 31st. The tender covers all municipal districts and their markets, except KaNyaka.
