The Municipality of the City of Matola has just signed a twinning agreement with Charles County, in the United States of America (USA), with a view to strengthening investments in the areas of trade, industry, agro-processing, tourism, education, culture and institutional exchange.

On the occasion, Parruque said that the agreement is an instrument to make the interests of the business community of the Municipality of Matola viable in the various areas of activity.

He made it known that funding channels are open for youth and women's entrepreneurship.

According to the publication, Parruque wants to draw on the experience of Charles County to tackle the problems of climate change and drainage construction.

During his stay in that American city, the mayor of Matola has been meeting with local businesspeople, hospitals and universities.
