More than 40 businesswomen and entrepreneurs met recently in Maputo to share experiences about business, in order to promote the empowerment of this social group, boost the economy, and drive the country's development.
It was a meeting promoted by the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) and with the collaboration of its counterpart in Stuttgart. It was the first round table to take place in the country and aimed to seek solutions to improve women's business, with ideas to overcome barriers.
The women present at the meeting recognize the efforts of the Government to accelerate the economy, with the measures recently announced by the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi. However, they feel that there are still challenges that need to be overcome for a prosperous business.
