The Montepuez Ruby Mining (MRM) company is to finance several environmental protection and biodiversity recovery projects in Cabo Delgado province over the next seven years, reports Notícias.

To this end, an agreement was signed today by the chairman of MRM's Board of Directors, Samora Machel Jr., and the rector of the University of Lúrio (UniLurio), Leda Hugo.

The MRM has set out to provide funds so that students from Lúrio University can work with communities to preserve the environment and restore biodiversity. (Source: News)
