As part of its social responsibility, Moza Banco sponsored the construction of five bus stops for public passenger transport along the Marracuene-Macaneta road, which was inaugurated last Friday, November 18, by the Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita, at an event at which the Bank was represented by the Member of the Executive Committee, Jaime Joaquim.

Moza's support comes after the inauguration of the 8.42-kilometer road linking the Marracuene district headquarters to the town of Macaneta.

ccording to Public Works Minister Carlos Mesquita, the highway will allow people and goods to move safely, conveniently and permanently, as well as reducing travel times between the respective terminals.

Regarding the Moza-sponsored shutdowns, the leader called on the communities to take care of the infrastructure to ensure that it lasts longer for the benefit of all.

"The aim of these stops is to provide public transport users with a protected and comfortable place to wait safely for their bus, thus reducing exposure to sun, rain and wind."

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the road and the bus stops, Moza Executive Board Member Jaime Joaquim highlighted the Bank's commitment to supporting causes that contribute to the country's development, as well as the importance of the bus stops for the safety of public transport users.

"Moza's aim in supporting this initiative, which we consider to be of great public benefit, is to provide passengers with a protected and comfortable place to wait safely for their bus. The stops are therefore a welcoming space that aims to facilitate access to the buses and plates that circulate on this route, reinforcing the safety of users."

It should be noted that the stops now being built will also serve as an important means of communication for the Bank, where the Moza brand will be displayed by publicizing the Bank's campaigns in these spaces.
