Moisés Jorge is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium bim, the main bank in the Mozambican financial system.  

Moisés Jorge is a senior executive at Millennium bim, having been part of the team that opened the bank the following year.

Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions, including Client Manager, Commercial Director of Private Banking and Private Network, Quality Director, Human Resources Director and Corporate Coordinating Director, before joining the Executive Committee as head of the Corporate business, a position he held since 2015.

Moisés Jorge's appointment follows the resignation of João Martins as Chairman of the Executive Committee for personal reasons.

Throughout his professional career at Millennium bim, João Martins has served not only as Chairman of the Executive Committee, but also as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), playing a crucial role in the Bank's strategic orientation.

During the process of selecting a new Chief Executive Officer, the bank informs that Rui Maximino, currently Financial Director, will assume the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer on an interim basis.
