The main national event in Corporate Social Responsibility 'CSR' and Sustainability Summit (CSR Moz 2024) will take place on November 13 and 14, 2024, in Maputo, under the slogan "CSR in Mozambique: Creating Value through Sustainable Collaboration".

It aims to highlight the essential role of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices in corporate success. CSR Moz 2024 will bring together local and international stakeholders, including policy makers, business leaders, heads of non-profit organizations, socially responsible investors and private sector professionals focused on ethical business practices and positive social impact.

In light of recent environmental and security challenges, CSR Moz 2024 will address pressing humanitarian and sustainability issues in Mozambique. The summit also aims to promote collaboration between key partners and industry representatives, to present solutions and explore best practices in CSR.

Participants can expect engaging discussions on the CSR landscape in Mozambique, with opportunities for networking and collaboration through interactive panel sessions, case studies and expert presentations. Topics will include, among others, debates on how to leverage CSR and ESG practices to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); drafting effective CSR policies and strategies, including compliance, risk management and disclosure; and promoting sustainability through clean energy projects and carbon offsetting.

Organized by AME Mozambique, CSR Moz 2024, the conference offers executives, managers and professionals from various fields an opportunity to improve their skills in CSR and sustainability.
