Mozambique is among the four countries that have already confirmed their presence at the 35th Malawi International Trade Fair, to be held from May 22 to 29 in the city of Blantyre.
Other countries that will be present at this business event are Zambia, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.
Taking place under the slogan: "Promoting economic growth through economic transformation led by the private sector", this year's Malawi International Trade Fair will be attended by 160 exhibitors, compared to 23 last year.
According to a Radio MozambiqueThe event will serve as a platform for companies to present their products and services, explore new markets and forge partnerships.
Speaking at a press conference in the city of Blantyre, the director of membership development at the Confederation of Malawi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Wezi Mungoni, characterized the event as "an opportunity for companies to take center stage in shaping economic growth".
This year, in addition to showcasing various manufacturing and technology sectors for agriculture and value-added services, the exhibition will provide a platform for local and international delegates to create trade links and explore new business opportunities.
