After several uncertainties, the National Senior Women's Basketball Team is leaving this afternoon for Mexico, where they will play in the FIBA World Championship Qualifying Tournament in Germany-2026 from August 19 to 25.

A publication by Challenge newspaperThe Mozambican Basketball Federation (FMB) has promised to make a statement shortly, at Mavalane International Airport, to explain the plot that has been created around the national team's participation in this qualifying round for the World Cup.

In Mexico, it should be remembered, Mozambique is in Group "B", along with the host country, with which it plays at 20:30 local time on Monday, 3:30 am on Tuesday (20), Mozambican time, and Montenegro, which will face it at 17:30 local time on Wednesday, 1:30 am on Thursday, Mozambican time.

Finally, at 1.30am on Saturday, 5.30pm local time on Friday, Mozambique will close out their group stage campaign against New Zealand.
