"Mozambique has no problems with vaccine availability," - Filipe Nyusi

The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, said on Monday that at least 5.4 million people have completed the two doses of the covid-19 vaccine in Mozambique, while another 7.8 million have received at least one dose.

At this moment, citizens aged 18 and over are in the vaccination process, which means, according to the President of the Republic, that the country has enough vaccines available to cover more and more people.

"We have a greater availability of vaccines that may increase even more in the coming days through the arrival of more doses from our friends in the United States of America, China, Korea or Portugal," he said, calling on everyone to join the vaccination process.

Since it is the festive season, Filipe Nyusi called for strict observance of covid-19 prevention measures.
