Interior Minister Pascoal Ronda is calling for speed in clarifying the murder of lawyer Elvino Dias and PODEMOS leader Paulo Guambe. According to Ronda, there is a need to avoid misinformation, especially given the electoral context.l.

"These crimes take place at a political moment, which leaves us open to various interpretations, considering the fact that the two victims were members of a political party," said Pascoal Ronda, urging SERNIC and the police to clarify them quickly.

Elvino Dias and Paulo Guambe were shot dead at dawn on Saturday (19) by unknown individuals on Avenida Joaquim Chissano, in the Coop district of Maputo, just over 100 meters from where the two had been socializing with friends hours earlier in a small market in the Malhangalene district, known as Pulmão.
