The Public Prosecutor's Office (DA) has charged five of the six indicted with attempted murder on Momade Assif Satar, better known as Nini Satar, allegedly in March 2022.

Of the defendants in Criminal Case No. 46/10/2022, two are members of the Republic of Mozambique Police (PRM) and three are inmates of the Special Maximum Security Penitentiary Establishment, "B.O."

Thus, they answer for the crimes of prohibited weapons and criminal association.

According to the MP, because one of the indictees is still at large, a separate case has been opened for due process to hold him accountable.
