The Ministry of Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries meets from this Wednesday until Friday, in Maputo, in its VIII Coordinating Council.

According to a press release from the Ministry of the Sea, the purpose of the meeting is to take stock of this year's activities and put into perspective actions for next year.

The document also states that the meeting will also reflect on the challenges of managing the Sea, such as maritime spatial planning, maritime safety and security, and mangrove management.

The VIII Coordinating Council of the Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries will take place under the motto "Sea, Catalyst of the Economy, Today and Forever".
