We're in the last week of July, but there are members of the Ministry of Defense and the Interior who still haven't received their June salaries. And the big culprit in all this is the famous TSU, which instead of improving the lives of civil servants, seems to have made them more complicated.
According to the Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, who was speaking to journalists in Quelimane on Saturday (22), the delay in paying salaries at the Ministry of the Interior is due to a change in procedures within the framework of the Single Salary Table (TSU).
However, without setting any deadlines, he assured that the problem will be resolved and that it is not a question of a lack of funds.
"The problem isn't a lack of money, what's happening is that procedures are changing. The new routine for making payments, especially in that sector you mentioned, but the majority have been paid, in a reasonable number," said the government official.
