The payment of the 13th salary to State Officials and Agents (FAE), including members of the Defense and Security Forces, will take place next year by February 15, announced the Ministry of Economy and Finance. 

According to a statement issued by the institution, and as announced by the President of the Republic in his last communication to the nation on December 20, the 13th month allowance will be in the order of 30% of the basic salary included in the professional career framework in the Single Salary Table, including for Senior State Managers and Retiring Managers.

"The payment will take place in two stages, with the MEFs in salary levels 1 to 10 being paid by January 15, 2024, and the remaining MEFs being paid by February 15, 2024," it reads.

Bodies and institutions that process salaries should suspend payment for employees who are not entitled to the allowance, the document states.
