The government, through the Minister of Education and Culture, Samaria dos Anjos Novela, announced this Wednesday (08), the introduction of new curricular subjects from the next school year. Among the novelties is the inclusion of Arts, which will now be taught on Saturday mornings.

The information was given during the Coordinating Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC).

At the time, the government official, quoted by the newspaper SundayHe said that with regard to the subject of moral and civic education, the ministry is reorganizing its implementation, with activities taking place during the time dedicated to interaction between the head teacher and the students.

"During this time, topics related to behavior, grades and other social and educational issues will be addressed," said Samaria dos Anjos Tovela.

According to Tovela, all principals and teachers will be prepared to work with these issues, in order to reinforce the role of the school in the integral formation of students, not only in academic terms, but also in terms of being and doing.
