The Ministry of Education and Human Development (MINEDH) has scheduled for August 22 to 26 the extraordinary exams for the 12th grade of General Secondary Education, nationwide, since it is the last to enter Higher Education and the labor market.
To this end, citizens aged 17 or over, who can prove they have completed the 10th grade of the National Education System or equivalent, should apply.
Feliciano Mahalambe, director of the National Institute for Exams Certification and Equivalence (INECE), explained that students must have been enrolled in grade 12, in public or private schools with pedagogical parallelism, as long as they have cancelled their enrollment by May 13, 2022.
According to Mahalambe, quoted by the newspaper Notícias, citizens who have attended grade 12 until the end of the year and have been excluded from the exams or failed one or more subjects can also register for these exams.
Citizens who have taken extraordinary exams in previous years and passed at least one subject are also eligible to apply. The source also mentioned that those who have completed the 11th grade are eligible for these exams.
