Mozambican international Mexer Sitoe has renewed his contract with Turkish League II side Bandirmaspor for another season, according to a statement from the club.

The Turkish club has confirmed on its social media page that Edson Sitoe, known as Mexer, has signed on for another season.

"An agreement has been reached with Edson André Sitoe (Mexer), who had a one-season renewal option on his contract," reads the club's Instagram page.

It should be noted that in his first season at the Bandirma-based club, Mexer played 30 games, most of them as team captain, and in this renewal the aim is to help the team climb up to the top league.
