The health authorities in Maputo city will strengthen interventions to reduce the prevalence of HIV/AIDS, approaching the United Nations (UN) goal.
According to Notícias Online, the intention was expressed a few days ago by Aldevina Tsambe, Executive Secretary of the Office for Combating HIV/AIDS in Maputo City, at the meeting of the technical group of Human Rights and key population, which brought together the public sector, civil society and cooperation partners.
"The Provincial HIV/AIDS Council has high expectations for interventions towards seeing HIV prevalence rates go down. We want to raise the awareness of rights of different actors and achieve goals set at the national and global levels by 2030," the source said.
