Maputo province will start the current school year with a deficit of seven hundred and thirteen teachers for the different education subsystems.

For this year, the province has managed to hire two hundred and eighty-seven teachers, a number that falls far short of the sector's needs to meet demand.

The information was shared with Rádio Moçambique by the director of education in Maputo province, Carménia Canda.
