As of today, the city of Maputo is hosting the first biennial Off-Grid Energy Forum in Mozambique, according to a statement from the organization that MZNews has seen.

This is the first biennial Off-Grid Energy Forum in Mozambique.

The event will bring together public sector representatives, private sector leaders and development partners to discuss energy solutions in areas without access to energy.

The two-day event is organized by the Mozambican Energy Association, AMER, in partnership with the Integrated Planning and Cooperation Unit for Electrification.

During the forum, the statement said, members of the public and private sectors will discuss and present projects dealing with various off-grid technologies, including mini-grids, solar systems and improved cooking solutions
