This Sunday (26), five provinces will experience restrictions in the supply of energy from the public grid of Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), as part of the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical infrastructures.

"The work will affect the provinces of Maputo, Sofala, Manica, Tete and Nampula, between 6am and 4pm," reads a note from EDM.

In the meantime, the state-owned electricity company is urging customers to consider permanently live lines to avoid electric shocks.
