Mambas vencem o Ruanda e estão a um empate do CAN

The "Mambas" won 2-0 against Rwanda on Sunday in a qualifying match for next year's African Cup of Nations (CAN).

The National Football Team visited and beat Rwanda, in a match on the fifth qualifying round for the CAN, which will be played from January 13 to February 21 in Côte d'Ivoire.

In the match at the Huye Stadium, the "Mambas" scored the first goal of the game through Geny Catamo in the 43rd minute and got the second in the 94th minute through Clésio.

With this result, Mozambique is in second place with seven points, two more than Benin, with five points. Rwanda, meanwhile, remain in the "red bottom" with two points.

On the final matchday, the "Mambas" only need a draw against Benin to confirm their place at the Ivorian CAN.
