The Mozambican Football Federation (FMF) has already paid the players, technical team and support staff of the Mambas for their three-nil victory over Eswatini, about 24 hours after the match took place.

Thus, the promise made by FMF president Feizal Sidat after the victory in the match at Mbombela Stadium in neighboring South Africa was fulfilled.

According to the president of the FMF, quoted by the portal LanceMZEach player received a prize of 90,000 meticais, which represents an increase of 10,000 meticais over the previously set amount of 80,000 meticais.

It should be noted that the Mambas did not receive any prize money for their home draw, as stipulated in the regulations signed by both sides.

With the payment of this prize, the FMF is in a situation where it does not have any debts relating to match prizes for the members of the Mambas, according to a source quoted by the LanceMZ portal, who revealed that this was a situation to encourage the team of all of us to put in good performances in the last two qualifying games for CAN-2025, against Mali in Zimpeto and Guinea in Bissau.
