Another low pressure system has formed east of Madagascar, with the potential to develop into a moderate tropical storm stage.

Projections indicate that the system could reach Madagascar this Tuesday, with a strong potential to hit the Mozambique channel, indicates a statement from the National Meteorological Institute.

INAM continues to monitor the phenomenon and calls on the population to stay alert to the meteorological information and the warnings issued by the competent national authorities.
