According to the newspaper Desafio, the "locomotives" from the country's capital lead the series 2-1, and a win today would guarantee their tenth national title. However, a win for the "canarinhos" would tie the series at 2-2, taking the decision to the fifth and final game tomorrow.

Yesterday's rest followed the first three games played from Sunday to Tuesday. Ferroviário de Maputo won game one 69-63, while the "canarinhos" won game two 67-64. On Tuesday, João Mulungo's team won game three 61-60.
