The municipality of Lichinga, in Niassa province, will soon invest about 36 million meticals in the rehabilitation and paving of more than six kilometers of urban roads, said an official source.  

Manuel Mangachaia, infrastructure councilman, explained that the works will cover the sections connecting the Central and Chiuaula markets, as well as the residential neighborhoods of Sanjala, Namacula, Cerâmica, and Muchenga.

According to the source, cited by "Notícias", the contractors who will perform the work in reference have already been hired and are currently in the process of mobilizing the equipment and selecting technical staff with mastery in the placement of pavement.
